Marvel This!

I came across the most amazing way to cross the Seine river in Paris, France. How rad would this be!? This has been I know, I know.. it is not a real bridge but I can still believe in it. If it was an actual bridge, I am pretty sure I would be there every day. Who hasn't wanted a trampoline in their childhood let alone having it be a bridge? Such a neat concept. Hopefully they can sway the fact that lawsuit after lawsuit would occur from people crashing into one another.

I would love to hear what you all think about the trampoline bridge developed by AZC Architecture. Do you all like the new idea or would you say nay to this idea?

Unconventional ∆ Gifting

Every time the holiday's come around, anxiety comes into play. For me, I feel anxious because I want to find the perfect gift for my loved ones. I want something they have never seen before or something they do not have two ten of.. like lotions or body sprays. So, this year I will be in the search for those perfect little items. So far I did not have to look far :). One of my new favorite online shops has several trinkets and unconventional household items like vases, silverware, coaster, etc. I highly reccommend checking out LEIF before you head to our beloved Target when finding a gift for the person who has EVRYTHING!

Velvet + Leather

Velvet has always seemed über luxurious to me and I have always dreamed of owning the perfect velvet gown. Mainly because the fabric is always shown in a beautiful extravagant gown.. And then I came across this lovely number from Ted Baker. The simple silhouette  the deep navy velvet.. I fell in love.

Forming a daytime outfit around velvet can be tricky but with the perfect cream leather jacket and ankle booties, your outfit is complete! I added a bib necklace and a bright clutch to keep this look exciting. What do you all think of this outfit?? Would you wear velvet during the day or would you reserve velvet for the night? Oh, Hey blog life!

So - yes.. I have been completely absent from the blogger world the past few months.. I have missed it terribly! School and other events have caused me to take a slight siesta from the blog. So much has happened in just a few months! Every time I saw something cool, heard of something interesting, or saw an incredible movie, all I thought was; "Wow, that would be an incredible post."
It definitely made me realize I can't leave my blog on the back burner. Blogging is definitely my creative outlet more so than a hobby I like to do. I will vow to blog again. Especially since it is my last semester, I have to stay sane some how, right?

How do you lovely readers stay sane? Do you blog often or read a cool novel? I would love to hear about your sane secret!

P.S. It is National Sister's Day! My sister posted an amazing photograph of the Falling Garden installation by Gerda Steiner and Jörg Lenzlinger on Pinterest the other day.. Wouldn't that be amazing to experience?

-Picnic Perfect-

Believe it or not, these hot days we are having in the city definitely make me want to get outside for a picnic. My apartment does not have air conditioning so it almost feels like an oven it is even hotter being cooped up inside. Plus, eating outside is that much more enjoyable.. Here are items I would bring on the perfect picnic.
